Our very own Manny Grace named Region 3 Director

Manny has provided out club with faithful service for some time.  Now his dedication has been recognized as he moves into the role of Region 3 Director.

Each of the seven alums — six regional directors and one young alumni director — was chosen during an election held between January 4 and February 23. Their terms will run from July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2015. An international alumni director was also appointed for Europe.

Working at Walt Disney since 1991, Grace has held numerous positions in the Notre Dame Club of Los Angeles, including vice president of University affairs and a member of the board of directors. A past regional director of the Black Alumni of Notre Dame, Grace is a member of the board of trustees of the California State Parks Foundation.

Come out and join the Notre Dame Club of Los Angeles and for our annual Day at the Races at Santa Anita Park. As in years past, we anticipate a large group to gather for an afternoon of good food and watching the ponies from our private infield tent right in the middle of the action. All ages welcome! We have a block of seats in the lower bowl reserved for NDCLA at $37 per ticket (Face Value is $67 so that's a $30 savings!!). Tickets will go fast so don't wait!! Book early to hold our block together to ensure we all get to sit together. The first 20 people who purchased tickets will have an opportunity to take a very special behind the scenes tour of the Staples Center before the game. These ticket holders will need to be at the arena by 6pm.
