Zack Warfield 5k Run/Walk

Last 4th of July, our ND family lost one of our own, Zack Warfield '98, a Manhattan Beach resident. This year, his family invites you to join in the "1st Zack Warfield '98 5K Run/Walk" on June 30. The run benefits the Zack Warfield Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to students from the Frederick, MD community, Zack's hometown. The main run/walk will be based out of Manhattan Beach, but others will occur ALL OVER the U.S.A.

SAMOSHEL Volunteer Opportunity

This Sunday, June 17th,
we will cook dinner at Samoshel Homeless Shelter from 3-5pm.
We are looking for 6-8 volunteers to help cook and serve. 

Please email Leigh Madeira (leigh.madeira@gmail.com) if you are available. 

Also, keep in mind that this Sunday is Father's Day so make sure this won't conflict
with any family commitments before volunteering.

Samoshel is located at 505 W. Olympic Blvd
on the North side of the 10 freeway in Santa Monica.

Parking is very limited, but there are meters around the corner.

ND Women Connect Event: Hike on June 10

You’re invited to go on a hike!  We’ll be hiking in the Abalone Cove Ecological Reserve in Rancho Palos Verdes where we’ll enjoy magnificent views, a black sand beach, and tide pools.  Hope to see you there!

Time:   We’ll be meeting in the parking lot at 9:00 am.
