The Doug Mroczek (aka "The Trumpet Guy") Memorial GameWatch
As was indicated in the first issue of our 2012 Newsletter,
we lost a great leader in our Club in the off-season.
Doug Mroczek, pictured above at Irishfest, affectionately known as The Trumpet Guy, passed away in March.
Since Doug was the unquestioned Cheer Leader of the NDCLA, playing the Fight Song after each score, the Alma Mater after each game, and running up and down the bar with the ND flag, we thought it fitting to dedicate the first night GameWatch of the season in his honor.
I know it will be tough to keep a bar of rowdy Irish fans quiet for a moment before a big game,
but please keep Doug and his family in your prayers.
In honor of Doug, the biggest Notre Dame fan I ever met,
let's have three huge crowds at each GW location
and cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame!
